We are an innovative boutique law firm, with secluded offices based in Pietermaritzburg, conveniently close to the Courts, Master’s Offices and Deeds Office. The firm was established in 2017 and offers clients sound legal advice and services in most areas of law. The Directors look forward to many happy and successful years of providing assistance in the legal sphere.

Skye Forsyth - Director
Skye grew up in the small town of Margate, on the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal. Near the end of 2012, she began her Articles of Clerkship at Tomlinson Mnguni James Attorneys (TMJ), in Pietermaritzburg. On completion of her Bachelor of Laws degree (LLB), through UNISA in 2013, and her Articles, she was admitted as an Attorney of the Pietermaritzburg High Court in January 2015. She continued to gain experience as an Associate in the General Litigation and Matrimonial Law Department of TMJ until the end of September 2017. Now, as a Director of Stofberg & Forsyth Attorneys, together with Dirk Stofberg, she looks forward to assisting you in any legal matter you may have.
Dirk Stofberg - Director
Dirk was born and raised in Ladybrand in the Free State. He studied at UCT and obtained his BA LLB in 1977, whereafter he gained experience as a State Advocate in the Attorney General’s Office (now the NPA). Dirk served his Articles of Clerkship in Port Alfred with Shelver and Champion Attorneys. He was admitted as an Attorney on 5 April 1984 and was a Partner in Champion Neave & Stofberg, from 1984 to 1988. For most of his career (over 27 years) he held the position of Director at Tomlinson Mnguni James Attorneys in Pietermaritzburg, and left to start this boutique firm, as Director, with Skye Forsyth. He looks forward to many happy and successful years, using his experience helping his clients with the more complex legal issues.
